After 90 minutes of it, my face was sore from the phony smile I had on it. I was tired of listening to the "remember when we all got wasted" stories. I told my guy that I thought we should leave. We were only supposed to be 'making an appearance' there anyway, not staying the night......and seeing how he drove a company truck, (I'm not allowed to drive it), if he continued to drink the 3 oz drinks they were giving him, how would we safely get home?
